A Unique Product

This tool is the first of its kind to offer a counselling process that mimics the real-life work between counsellor and client.  The many thousands of mental health or self-development apps currently available mostly utilize a limited number of therapy methods, namely Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, relaxation, Mindfulness, and mood diaries.  These are generally a simple, guided process, that is the same for every individual.  Coaching apps work on a similar premise – a psycho-educational process that facilitates a defined way of thinking.

In contrast, this tool generates a process specifically for the individual, based on their needs, at a specific moment in time.  It utilises many therapeutic methods such as person-centred therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, psychoanalysis and therapeutic learning.  The content is tailored and directed entirely by the individual rather than following a prescribed process.  The process and outcomes are therefore unique to each individual, as in face-to-face therapy.

Our Commitment

  • To provide users with tailored resources to help them mentally heal, grow and mature.

  • To make sure that any of the processes used in the Self-therapist tool are academically researched, so that they are proven to be beneficial.

  • To ensure that the resources we provide take account of those individuals who may be more vulnerable than others.

  • To keep all personal data secure, and to encrypt personal notes so that no one can read them.

  • To provide excellent and timely customer service should it be needed.
